About ECA

The Early College Academy of Natomas Charter School is a college-style hybrid academy for students in grades 9-12. ECA  offers teacher-designed curriculum delivered through a combination of online and classroom based instruction.

Online assignments are enhanced with weekly in-person workshops. During class, students complete labs, participate in Socratic discussions, work with small groups, and engage in hands-on learning experiences.

ECA allows students to engage in a small, collaborative learning community unlike any other. The learning center allows students to work in a shared space that mimics that of a college student union, rather than a traditional high school campus.

ECA students defy traditional high school norms to create lasting friendships across social divides.
